Caherdaniel (Cathair Dónall in Irish) is a village in County Kerry, Ireland, located on the Iveragh peninsula on the Ring of Kerry.

A stone fort or (caher) is located nearby, as is Derrynane House, which was home to Daniel O'Connell.

The local parish consists of about 700 people.

Copper ore was mined in the area, the first mines dating back to around 2000 BC.

Caherdaniel & Derrynane is situated on the World Famous "Ring of Kerry", it was also home to the Great Liberator Daniel O'Connell Hero to the Irish People. Today the Liberators home is open to the public as a museum and has nice walks on the grounds leading to the cleanest Beaches in Kerry.

White Tailed Sea Eagles have been reintroduced in the Killarney National park and will eventually make their way to the Coast of Kerry. No doubt they will be seen in the Caherdaniel / Derrynane area in the near future.
